Dance in the pouring rain,
Spit in the eye of a hurricane…
Who said life has got to be so cruel,
Love’s the only rule…
This should be reblogged by everyone. Even if you’re straight, you should be a supporter.
Everyone deserves it.
No one has the right to decide for someone else who they can or should be allowed to love. Period.
A day after I received the bad news about Ingrid her sister Christel sent me a beautiful message and below is a portion of it…
”Can I ask you something? We want to play 3 songs on her funeral. And of course this has to be Bon Jovi. Do you know 3 songs that would be good, or what her favorite songs were. Thanks, Christel.”
I took this request very seriously because having recently lost a close friend and having sat through a service where someone had chose music that was not her style or would have been anywhere near her choice I did not want this to happen to Ingrid.
Call it fate or divine intervention but Ingrid and I had shared conversations about Bon Jovi music and as I said before “Father Time” by Richie Sambora had been the first song I heard on her playlist. The lyrics seemed very relevant and Ingrid’s love for Richie made it a good choice. Below I will list the other songs I suggested, and today I will turn on Ingrid’s playlist yet once again and listen to them there…. You might want to do the same… I bet Ingrid will be listening too.
1. Father Time Richie Sambora
2. Every Road Leads Home Richie Sambora
3. Walk Beside You Richie Sambora
4. Thank You For Loving Me Bon Jovi
5. Seat Next To You Bon Jovi
6. Love’s The Only Rule Bon Jovi
7. Letting You Go Bon Jovi
I think Ingrid would approve…. :)

Advice to BonJoviGirls:
Listening to these songs as you drive to work in the sunshine may result in you getting a speeding ticket…
Love’s The Only Rule
Someday I’ll Be Saturday Night
Blood On Blood
Luckily the guy in front of me saw the speed trap in time and forced me to slow down before I got caught by the POPO…
