Yeah, that Jon Bon Jovi is such an asshole.

All these years taking shit from the critics, being overlooked for many well deserved awards, being written off as a ‘pretty boy’, underrated as a great singer and  songwriter and he just keeps going for the fans that do love him…

Yeah. What an asshole.

After Jon’s leg injury in 2010 I had the pleasure of traveling to Calgary Alberta to see the band. They put on an amazing show and I was lucky enough to be fourth row so I was close enough to see the pain in Jon’s face at times. I actually felt guilty being there feeling like I was somehow responsible for his discomfort but then I realized this is who he is and he probably at some level wouldn’t want it any other way. Having seen him many times I can honestly say this was as good as any show I’d seen before or since. The man is a consummate performer, an amazing talent and a superstar that should be given more respect. Love you Jon Always!

Injures himself during tour but keeps on performing. (For him? I think not. Imagine any of today’s “great talents” remaining on stage to finish a song or continuing their tour after such an injury…) I digress.
