Actually, he isn’t “a dope…” I must admit I probably do listen to Bon Jovi and The Goo a little more than what would be tolerable to the average person, dog or rock.
But “Thanks to Remedy” for the good advice. I believe I will keep him and invest in earphones!

THE CONCERT FOR NEW YORK CITY - Oct 20, 2001
The concert was organized by Paul McCartney and included many of his legendary British contemporaries, including The Who, Rolling Stones bandmates Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, David Bowie, Elton John, and Eric Clapton. American artists included Bon Jovi, Jay-Z, Destiny’s Child, the Backstreet Boys, James Taylor, Billy Joel, Melissa Etheridge, Five for Fighting, Goo Goo Dolls, John Mellencamp with Kid Rock, and a humorous performance by Adam Sandler as “Operaman,” singing a medley covering the events of 9/11, the greatness of New York City, and aboutOsama Bin Laden being a coward. Paul Shaffer acted as Musical Director for the show and various celebrities and political figures including Howard Stern and Rudy Giuliani appeared between the acts.
My husband said “Go!” and to my freaking joy my other favorite band The Goo Goo Dolls were the opening act! Life was great! I’d finally see Jon live again and John Rzeznik for the first time!
We were just firming up the plans when my Dad died unexpectedly and I found out I had cervical cancer…
look tho.. he even has a guitar similar to jon’s in the iris video

So I never have quite got over that I missed the “Bounce Tour” in 2003 when “The Goo Goo Dolls” opened for “Bon Jovi”….
