I think you're taking too much offense to the secret thing. I'm not criticising your family, because I cant care less about what people do online, but that's just it, it's the Internet. A lot of people are shitheads. Also, it is out of the norm for fandoms. Fandoms online are so cliquey that it's like high school again. so understandably it may freak people out to see everyone just get along. just my 2¢.
You may be right. At first I was a little defensive because I started the BONJOVIFAMILY with good intentions and I’ve always included everyone except for ONE blogger who has been incredibly rude and disrespectful to myself and many of the other BONJOVIFAMILY members and constantly disrespected Jon.
The beautiful thing that has come out of all this, is all the lovely messages and posts that the BONJOVIFAMILY members and even other bloggers have sent me or posted. It reminds me why we should stand up to their bullying and antagonistic behavior.
What we have is special and “AIN’T NOBODY NOWHERE GONNA KNOCK IT DOWN…”
I think you are definitely right that it does “freak SOME PEOPLE out to see another group getting along like we do. SomeTHING in their personality does not allow them to be part of something so lovely. Instead they feel defensive and I will even use the word envious.

OK. I’m no good with words or emotions and everything I write gets very soppy. But the BON JOVI FAMILY is honestly one of the most amazing things I’ve ever been involved in and I’m proud to say I’m a member.
All members of the family are indeed like family. Be it with the band involved or not, I always see members speaking and helping each other out.
When I first joined Tumblr - I always thought I was a BIG Bon Jovi fan - but then I saw this family, and got a little intimidated - but all members made me feel very welcome.
When Ingrid died - and I didn’t know her, and I’m not gonna say I did - and I saw all the members come together to support each other, I saw just how close knit everyone was. I had problems with my Mam once and Gayle was lovely enough to message me and tell me it’ll be alright.
So, yeah, now I cannot think of anything else to write, So I’m just gonna end it and say,
I AM PROUD TO BE PART OF SUCH A WONDERFUL FAMILY!
