"…over half the Jovi stuff that shows up I have to look for names on a GIF or photo to match the source that it was FIRST blogged from. I mainly reblog MissingYouJon stuff now because that seems like the only stuff I can trust NOT to be stolen. > . > Seriously people if you didn’t make it don’t repost it!"
This is part of a message I received from one of YOU.
It made me think that maybe I should make a post with the Gifmaker’s that we should be “reblogging.”
Anonymous asked you: Thanks Jovimama! For all you do for us. A secret admirer.
Well. Whoever you are, thank you♥
xoxo Your Jovimama always♥

Anonymous asked you: I don’t mean any disrespect but I’ve noticed sometimes you repost other people’s gifs. How is that different?
You’re right. I do. Here’s why it’s different.
1) I only use them to punctuate a verbal post I am making or as an add on to a photopost.
2) I always “give credit to the maker” and so I can, I take the time to keep a record of who I borrowed it from. When someone posts one without that information, it gives the illusion that it’s theirs, especially when the maker has not tagged each gif in a set.
3) I WOULD NEVER REPOST SOMEONE’S ENTIRE SET AS MY OWN.
4) Almost all of the Gifmakers that I “borrow” gifs from in this fandom have expressedly given me their approval based on the fact, I believe, that they know I respect them and show them that respect by always reblogging their originals and always giving them credit.
5) If someone asks me not to use their gifs, I don’t use them.

Gifmakers: If these gifs belong to you please repost your originals. A new blogger is “reposting” lots of gifsets as their own. Not cool. Nope. Not cool at all.
btw…I did send this blogger a couple of messages letting her know this isn’t how we show each other respect here but she has ignored my messages and went on to post another gifset…
BONJOVIFAMILY! Please stop reblogging gifsets posted by:
She lost my follow…
It’s that guy, Johnny Rzeznik who is often mistaken for Jon Bon Jovi…
So I don’t usually post anything but Bon Jovi on this blog but I will make an exception because I want to show off the fabulous photography skills of my daughter BabyJ!
And of course you know I can almost always find a way to bring everything back to Bon Jovi…
So BabyJ and I are sitting in our seats FRONT ROW and I overhear the woman next to me saying “blah, blah, blah, blah, Bon Jovi blah, blah, blah, Bon Jovi….”
I was listening to BabyJ at the same time so I wasn’t sure but I turned to the woman and said “Hey are you a Bon Jovi fan?” She of course, said “Of course.” I mean really, who isn’t a Bon Jovi fan? And if I have one skill, it is to find the one Bon Jovi fan in the room.
We immediately began talking about the last concert and she whipped out her camera to show me the photos she had captured of Jon and The Boys. They were great and we exchanged a few stories before it was time to rush the stage. Where upon guaranteeing my spot almost dead center 2nd row I find what? Ya know it. Another Bon Jovi fan. She was also accompanied by her daughter who was “womaning” their camera. We got to talking about what concerts we had all been to and of course they had also been to Bon Jovi!
Apparently I am not the only mother who blackmails my daughter with Concert Tickets for Photographs while at the same time ensuring that the next generation in the family has fabulous music taste!

Way worse people he could look like. True. Very true…
Everything goes back to Bon Jovi…
So out last night at The Hard Rock Casino with my best girls.
When we arrived I was grumbling and mumbling about “No Bon Jovi” memorabilia in plain view as usual.
I’m sure you can imagine me rushing here and there checking out the exhibits. Steven Tyler jumpsuit, hell yeah. Bruce Springsteen Display, hell yeah, Def Leppard Display, hell yeah, U2 display, hell yeah. Other less known and of no particular rock cred as far as I was concerned all over the place. BUT NO BON JOVI.
Well. Obviously there was Bon Jovi as you can see by my photos but it wasn’t until we were headed out the Main Entrance (which we had not entered through…)(me of course grumbling about how could it be a Hard Rock Venue with no Bon Jovi…)
When to my right, across from an Elvis display (no less) is MY BEAUTIFUL BOY! MR JON BON JOVI!
Made my most excellent night even more excellent!
(…and the venue also redeemed itself by playing “It’s My Life” in the Casino as we were walking through. Nice touch. Must have known I was there… ;)
A Jovi/Gooey Girl can always dream… ;)
I kind of feel guilty today.
Like I’m cheating on Jon with John…
But I can’t help it! I’m so excited!
Seeing The Goo Goo Dolls tonight and I’m front row and I’m losing it!
(not as much if it was front row Bon Jovi…but pretty close…)
