Bon Jovi played Livin’ On A Prayer, Wanted Dead Or Alive and It’s My Life.
Goo Goo Dolls performed American Girl and Iris.
ABSOLUTELY! If you love Bon Jovi we want to know…
What’s your story?
So, yesterday I made a new friend Chryssa http://chryssabedofroses.tumblr.com/
During our conversation we got to talking about how we became Bon Jovi fans and it got me thinking…
Make a post about how you found Bon Jovi and why you feel they made such an impact on your life.
C’mon! You know you wanna!
It was a tough year but this band is loved and we showed them by turning up in huge numbers…
I will Always be there for you!
Bon Jovi co-founder Richie Sambora (54) for the time being will no longer be on stage with the rock band. He had the group around frontman Jon Bon Jovi (52) Although not yet written off, “but we are currently just in completely different phases,” the guitarist and songwriter said the “Stuttgarter Nachrichten” (Monday).
31 years ago, the two musicians had joined in the American New Jersey for the band Bon Jovi and together recorded international hits such as “Livin ‘On A Prayer”, “Wanted Dead Or Alive” and “Keep The Faith”. Last year, Sambora had turned his bandmates during a tour surprisingly the back.
In June, Richie Sambora is with his solo album “Aftermath Of The Lowdown” on tour in Germany. Concerts are in Stuttgart (19.6.), Munich (20.6.), Berlin (22.6.) And Cologne (24.6.) Planned.

So someone found an old copy of the BONJOVIFAMILY LIST and I’ve seen it on a few blogs and people are sending me messages because their names aren’t on it BUT that is only because it’s a really old version of the list. In most cases you were added after that list so I guess the only thing to do is repost a current list♥
It will take me a bit because I have to go through and delete blogs that are gone and add some as well.
If your Url has changed in the last year or you want to be added please message me before next Friday May 23rd ♥
(likewise if you want to be removed let me know as well)
Seeing so many of you sending each other love just makes me feel really good.
That’s one of the things that makes us THE BONJOVIFAMILY!
I will be reposting so if you were missed please send me a message with your name and birthdate ♥
So I have been sent many, many messages about what I think about the band and their current situation. I will once again state that as I am just a fan like all of you, I have no inside information and I choose to not post personal opinions on each and every little piece of information that comes out in the media.
As a matter of fact, I don’t believe anything that has been posted in the media, heresay by people who “know the band” or even what has been said in interviews by Jon or Richie. This is a private matter between the band and they are not going to play it out in the media.
Even if there is a small kernal of truth in what Jon or Richie has said, it would only be “the truth” of the person saying it and what I have learned in life is there is your opinion, my opinion and somewhere in the middle you find the truth. Ask two people to tell the same story and you get very different versions of the events effected by their own personal perspective.
So basically, my view is to wait and see how it all plays out. No matter what is ever said or how it is resolved I don’t believe we will ever know the whole truth. Secrets will be taken to the grave for sure on this one.
Now having said that, I know many people here have lost their faith in the band and the fandom due to the differing opinions, interpretation of events and other people’s comments, but overall, I have not. I would be lying to say that it has not made me sad, disappointed and even angry somedays but my lifetime love for this band has not waivered.
Again, the Mom in me thinks that no matter how hard times get, if people pull together, put aside their differences of opinion and support one another, things will get better.
We have no power over what happens with the band but we do have the power to stay positive and support one another.
Recently, Braydon added a post that said”
"BEAUTIFUL THINGS HAPPEN WHEN YOU DISTANCE YOURSELF FROM NEGATIVITY."
I believe, because of his tagging, that he was referring to the negativity in our fandom recently and how we are all fragmenting. Fans turning on the band members. Friends turning on friends. People who used to find joyin the camaraderie distancing themselves and many even leaving Tumblr or the fandom altogether bacause they can’t stand to read the hostile and negative opinions being shared.
It made me think that instead of dwelling on the hard times the band has been going through, I once again choose to concentrate on the good and the positive.
What this band and their music has brought me is a lifetime gift of joy and I’m forever thankful to them. THE ENTIRE BAND. Thirty years is a long time for any band to stay toghether, we will just have to wait and see where the road takes them.
As long as they all end up happy, I will be happy for them. Together, or not. It is a small gift to give in return for the music and the sacrifices they have all made in their own lives to give us the music and the countless tours, for so many years.
So there you go Anons. That is my opinion. You can stop asking.
